Arriving to your session, you may feel a bit nervous, especially if you’ve never been photographed before. That’s completely normal! Every single session starts off feeling a little bit awkward. Don’t worry if you’re a little nervous or if it feels a little strange being in front of the camera at first!

during your engagement session

We’ll start off your session with some simple poses and prompts. What I focus on most is capturing your interactions. If you and your fiancé aren’t too keen on public displays of affection, I won’t have you do anything you aren’t comfortable with; Likewise, if you’re really outgoing and enthusiastic, I won't have you in super formal, hands-off poses. Every single engagement session that I do is tailored to the couple I'm photographing, and I know no two couples are exactly alike. However, I can promise you this: I’ve had many couples tell me they felt like they weren’t photogenic, or that they were awkward in front of the camera, but they all ended up with a set of photos that they loved. I will ensure that you do too!
